Dr Philip Teg-Nefaah Tabong

Philip Teg-Nefaah Tabong works at the Department of Social and Behavioural Science, School of Public Health, University of Ghana. He is a registered nurse in Ghana and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and psychology (combined major option), Master of Science in Applied Health Social Science and a PhD in Public Health. This diversity in his background positions him as a transdisciplinary academic. In this regard, he brings this distinctiveness to bear in his teaching and research activities. Prior to joining the University of Ghana, he had worked in various capacities with Ghana Health Services.
