Levi Muyela

Project Officer

Levi Abisai Muyela is a project officer with Africa Mental Health Research and Training Foundation (AMHRTF). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Psychology from Moi University and is currently a final year student at the University of Nairobi pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He has gathered experience as a project officer working on several projects related to (but not limited to) intimate partner violence (IPV) and dementia and has participated in publications associated with these topics. He is currently the Project Coordinator (Kenya) on Project “HOPE” - NIHR Global Health Research Group on Homeless People with severe mental illness in Africa (HOPE).  He is passionate about research in mental health, and in particular development and implementation of evidence based interventions.
